The new Split-Box Media Console from the London arm of famous Gibson music is truly a sight to behold. It’ll help you hide the biggest of screens in no time flat. The whole thing was made by famous furniture designer Peter Harvey, and it has his stamps all over it.
It comes with internal lift mechanism done by FutureAutomation. The media center easily houses a 60-inch 3D TV. With a push of the button the entire thing erases from existence, and all you see is the pristine whiteness of the unit itself.
The inside of the Split-Box can be customized to include 32-, 37-, 42-, 50- or 60-inch screens, as well as shelves or other technology. It’s priced at around $31,000 and available now.
Oh Swarovski. You multiply faster than Gremlins after midnight. This time on a guitar! But not just any guitar, a Gibson Bulls Eye. And not just any Gibson Bulls Eye, but a Zakk Wylde branded edition. Got all that?
To be fair, it’s not all Swarovski. There be gold gems on that thar guitar as well. Commissioned by an anonymous Monaco-based British celebrity, this limited edition Gibson guitar is encrusted with 4,000 individual Swarovski crystals - each measuring exactly 4mm in diameter and covered in 24-carat gold. Kim Webber and Gold2u worked in tandem to design this beast. The strings are also 24 carat gold and imported from Germany. And, that’s not all. 24 carat gold frets! Wow. I’m going to stop now before I also turn into gold. Is this guitar King Midas? Spend $24,200 and find out.
The infamous Gibson SG has long been a “go to” guitar for all manner of hard rockers. Some of these hard rockers became famous. One such rocker is Angus Young of AC/DC. To honor Angus, and themselves, Gibson has created a limited edition replica of the exact SG he used so many years ago. This limmited edition is an exact replica, barring several modifications Mr. Young requested. As such, the guitar will now drink actual human blood and can subdue a kangaroo in under 2 seconds. Ok, not really. It does have an extra humbucker pickup though. Gibson is only making 250 of these bad boys, with 50 signed by Angus Young. Prices start at $3617 and go to $9409. These new limited editions can be ordered at Gibson.
