So yeah, you want this thing. Want to know the worst part? It’s only available at a fundraising auction. You’ll have to get your plane tickets to Monte Carlo now. It will be for sale on September 22nd at the Only Watches fund-raising event.
Japan gets all the luck. In addition to early access to video games and creepy hentai, they also get to try out one of these e-bikes before the western world. The Panasonic BE-ENV is already available there and costs about $6,000 to $8,000. Why so much? Because this titanium frame e-bike is awesome, that’s why. The Panasonic BE-ENV is powered by a lithium-ion battery and absorbs vibrations better than any other e-bike. Featuring three different driving modes, including an eco-mode, the user can directly choose the suitable mode from an LCD monitor that also keeps track of one’s average speed, distance traveled and more. It can travel a distance of up to 69km, depending on what battery you choose. Not bad for a little e-bike! No word on when it will be available here but you could always mailorder.
Wow. Soccer players are smart. Manchester United player Gary Neville is putting his eco-money where his eco-mouth is by helping to design this luxury ec0-bunker. Wait out the coming in apocalypse in style, and all without increasing your carbon footprint!
Neville teamed up with Make Architects to create this 8,000-sq-ft multi-million-pound luxury eco-bunker. It has been likened to a Neolithic settlement and will be built in the grounds of Gary Neville’s £8 million ($13m) estate in Lancashire.
The building will have solar panels, a ground source heat pump and a wind turbine. Energy produced from the wind turbine will power his neighboring property with extra energy being supplied to the national grid, helping to reduce his family’s carbon footprint. There’s one potential snag, however. The government has yet to approve the bunker.

An anonymous Russian billionaire coughed up $8 million dollars for a Mercedes Hitler used to drive back when he was doing his part to inspire countless WW2 movies. Hitler may have been a murderous anti-semitic monster with a small peepee, but he had great taste in automobiles. That midnight blue 770 K model car is sure beautiful. The auto had been missing for several months, after it was locked in a collector’s garage in Bielefeld. Luckily for the anonymous Ruskie, it was tracked down and put on the auction block. Happy motoring!
Hey fashionistas! How many times have you been dressed to the nines and thought “Gee. I wish this dress lit up at the first sign of wind”? All of the time, right? Dutch designer Stijn Ossevoort has swooped in to make those worries a thing of the past. This cute dress is embroidered with wind-sensitive dandelions that create a pattern of light when someone or something blows on them. You are sure to be the belle of the ball with that magical display. No word on if the dress magically pays your hospital bills after you get electrocuted in the rain.
The Gates Foundation has finally found a home. The world’s largest charitable foundation, operating largely in part due to donations from Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, has settled on a 500 million dollar complex near the Seattle Center. The complex is massive, with two six-story, boomerang-shaped buildings on 12 acres housing about 800 employees. In the middle of it rests a glass-windowed atrium that rises up to six stories. They are also shooting for a Gold rating in LEED Certification, (an environmental building standard), which includes a living roof on the parking garage and a million-gallon rainwater storage tank to reduce water use. Not bad guys! Now, one more thing. Hire me.
Times are tough for us all. Donald Trump is selling his flashy Boeing 727-100 Executive aircraft. The jet recently has recently shown up on controller.com, a site devoted to plane sales. This jet has some interesting quirks. It’s designed to be your standard 134 seat passenger plane, but Trump had it renovated so it only seats 24. That’s a lot of leg room. Also, for those Trump obsessives out there, there is a giant “Trump” painted on each side. Your friends will have to believe you.
The plane has been in the air since 1968, having first been operated by American Airlines. Being as it’s been around 40 years, it has a lot of mileage but Trump indicates it has seen the best of care. We are inclined to agree. After all, Trump takes wonderful care of his hairpieces. Ooh, snap!
