Tailgate in style with the Midnight Rider Tundra Tailgater from Toyota

Finally, you can live the life you’ve been dreaming about since college ended. Kicking back on some field somewhere, blasting music and ruining the flora and fauna with numerous beer cans. And eventually, days later, a football game may or may not happen. Such is the joy of tailgating. Well that joy is about to get, um, more joyous with this concept vehicle from Toyota and Brooks and Dunn. Yes, that Brooks and Dunn.

The Midnight Rider Tundra Tailgater really is the ultimate tailgating vehicle. Just look at the thing. The exterior features a custom black paint job treated with silver metallic flakes, accented by custom western-engraved silver door handles, a front grille placed with a chrome Brooks & Dunn logo steer skull, and a hand-made black saddle leather-trim tonneau cover surrounded with custom Brooks & Dunn silver conchos. It was all created by noted silversmith Clint Mortenson of Mortenson Silver & Saddles.

The inside is where the fun really begins, though. The Midnight Rider Tundra Tailgater features a slide-out tailgate that includes a BBQ grill, beer tap, ice chest, 42″ HDTV and a Kicker sound system. This sound system has dual subwoofers, a separate amplifier, four two-way speakers with tweeters and separate crossovers, and dual two-channel amps with separate equalizers and speaker control units. The unit is only a concept for now, but soon you’ll be able to recapture your glory days and do another keg stand with the best of ’em. Yee haw.
