Do you often fantasize about outer space? Do you also fantasize about balloons? Well, that last one is a bit perverse for our purposes it’s fine and dandy. Introducing Bloon, the space-faring balloon. Wait, what?
It’s true. This space balloon seeks to beat Virgin Galactic to the punch by offering space travel to the masses. Only instead of a nice cushy, Bransony spaceship you’ll get a big ole balloon. You say tomato, I say tomahto. In any event, it does what it sets out to do, namely deliver your sorry butt to Spock territory.
The entire trip will last 2 hours at a paltry cost of $156,000. Which, I may note, is also less expensive than Virgin Galactic. No word on when these balloons will launch but we’ll let you know.
