UK-based Amalgam Fine Collection is selling what is sure to be one of the most collectible models of all time: A 1/8th scale McLaren F1 LM. The attention to detail is through the roof. The engine cover can be opened, showing off all manner of intricate detail. The model comes packed in with the book “Driving Ambition” written by Doug Nye, Ron Dennis and Gordon Murray. It tells the story behind the iconic car that inspired the model, which many say is the best automobile ever to hit the roads. The model/book package is priced reasonably at $5,300. Now, you too can be Lewis Hamilton! Well, a 1/8th sized Lewis Hamilton anyways.
